Automated check-call: how it works

A BPMN model of the automated shipment-tracking process: when the system reaches out to the driver on its own, and how exceptions reach a dispatcher.

This is a process design concept (a BPMN diagram), not a connected service: this demo has no real AI call to a driver, TMS integration, or SMS gateway.

Main process: shipment monitoring

The system regularly pulls position data (ELD/GPS/driver app) and checks it against the plan. If the data is more than 30 min stale, an AI agent calls the driver, parses the response and logs status; if the driver doesn't answer, it sends an SMS/email and, if needed, hands the case to the exception subprocess.

“Exception handling” subprocess

A dispatcher classifies the exception (missed window, lost contact, breakdown, delay, detention, document mismatch, compliance) and works it through the matching scenario; if there's an SLA risk, they agree compensation with the client, and if the route can't continue, they close it with the reason recorded.
